I bought and started running with a heart rate monitor.  I need to get a stress test to figure out what my max heart rate is.  I ran a 5k last Friday on a hilly course.  Granted I ran faster than I should of (21:00) but my heart rate at one point was 203!  How in the world am I going to increase my time over the length of a marathon if I am maxing out my heart rate.  I ran 4 miles today and my average heart rate was 173.
